DYMPHNA'S
A Special School for Autistic and Mentally Handicapped Children
Mary & Hassan at Dymphna's
Dymphna’s is a very special place to give some children, most vulnerable in society, day care and education. Mary, the founder, is a qualified special needs teacher, who wants to help some of the children who are often neglected and/or abused.
Children at Dymphna's
Mary has given up her job and opened her home to 28 children, who are brought from some of the worst urban slums in the area, to spend the day in this happy and caring environment.
The school is dependant on help and donations from local and overseas volunteers and Mary is currently applying for registration.
